1. Introduction
The National Union of Transport Equipment and Allied Industries Workers (NUTEAIW) provides services primarily related to membership applications, renewals, and union-related activities. As our services do not involve the physical delivery of goods, this Delivery Policy explains the processing time, approval process, and how applicants will be notified once their membership application has been reviewed.
2. Application Processing Time
- Upon successful submission of a membership application and confirmation of payment, the Union will begin processing the application within 3 to 5 working days.
- During this period, the Union’s administrative team will verify the applicant’s details, supporting documents, and payment information.
- If additional information or documents are required, the applicant will be contacted via email or phone.
3. Approval and Notification
- Once the application has been reviewed and approved by the Union, the applicant will receive an official confirmation email or letter within 7 to 14 working days from the date of submission.
- The confirmation will include the applicant’s membership number, effective membership date, and any next steps required.
- If the application is unsuccessful or requires further clarification, the applicant will be notified accordingly via the same contact information provided during submission.
4. Delays and Exceptions
While we strive to process all applications promptly, please note that delays may occur due to:
- Incomplete application forms or missing documents
- Public holidays or office closures
- High volume of applications during peak periods
- External verification requirements from related organizations or employers
The Union will notify applicants if any delay occurs or if additional time is required for verification.
