COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT : CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS MALAYSIA SDN BHD AND NUTEAIW (DATED: NOVEMBER 22, 2023)

In a historic moment, the National Union of Transport Equipment & Allied Industry Workers (NUTEAIW) and Continental Automotive Components Malaysia Sdn Bhd came together on November 22, 2023, to formally ink a collective agreement, solidifying their mutual commitment to fair labor practices and the well-being of the workforce.
The signing ceremony, held at a distinguished venue in Penang, marked the culmination of extensive negotiations between NUTEAIW representatives and Continental Automotive Components Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The collective agreement encompasses a spectrum of issues crucial to the rights and welfare of the workers, ranging from working conditions to compensation packages.
Gopal Kishnam, the General Secretary of NUTEAIW, expressed satisfaction at the collaborative effort, stating, "This agreement is a testament to the dedication of both parties in ensuring that the rights of the workers are protected.
