CEREMONY OF GRANTING ASSISTANCE: 2023 WORKERS UNION PROGRAM ON HUMAN RESOURCE AFFAIRS (PHEKS) (DATED: MAY 19, 2023)

On May 19, 2023, 

an auspicious event unfolded as the Workers Union Program on Human Resource Affairs (PHEKS) held a ceremony for the presentation of grants. The ceremony included the symbolic handover of a check by YB V. Sivakumar, Minister of Human Resources, allocated for training and education programs such as courses, workshops, and seminars.

The ceremony took place at Impiana Hotel Ipoh and was attended by representatives of the union, including the President and the Secretary-General. YB V. Sivakumar, Minister of Human Resources, graced the occasion, symbolizing the government's support for training and educational initiatives within workers' unions.

The union was honored to receive a generous grant of RM27,000.00, designated for three regions: North, South, and West. The funds are earmarked for the implementation of impactful training and educational programs.

The union's President and Secretary-General played pivotal roles in representing the union during the ceremony, signifying unity and commitment in advancing workers' welfare. The allocated funds will be utilized to conduct various training and educational programs, fostering continuous learning and development among union members.

By dividing the grant among three regions, the union aims to extend the benefits of the training and education programs to a wider spectrum of members, covering diverse geographical areas.

The union expressed gratitude for the financial support, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring that the programs funded by the grant will bring meaningful benefits to all union members.
